in the email address) The Organisation: The choir was started about 1980 and
was dissolved soon after the chorister went to Utah in about 1990. Chorister was Rosalind B Hall (BM,
Royal Academy of Music, 1977 and MM, Brigham Young University, 1992) Pianist was Alison Boome. The
'Reading Mormon Choir' is made up of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints from the Reading area. They were originally organised to provide music for worship services, but they
have also given many concerts and have found much joy in sharing their music
with the sick and elderly in hospitals and nursing homes. Although the choir love to sing for their own pleasure, their real
mission is to touch the lives of those who listen. The
choir have appeared on BBC Television with Bob Monkhouse,
as contestants in the 1989 series of Opportunity Knocks Pictures (Right
